Newsletter No. 71 September 2009

This year we have been inundated with kittens that have come from homes where the cat has been allowed to have a litter.

Some of them have been found homes and will probably end up with their own litters early next year if they are not spayed, starting the problem off all over again.

Being a responsible owner doesn’t take long to think about and help is often @ hand if it is needed, reducing the load on the Rescues allowing them to support the real Crisis cases.

No. 68
March 2009

As spring starts to bring new life to the flowers & trees and we see the sweet little lambs in the fields, its easy to forget that your kitten of last year can become the father or mother to a large number unwanted kittens.

Your pet does not have to have a litter and it is not cruel to have them neutered or spayed, but it is to dump the kittens or not look after them as they grow up.
With just a little care and attention your feline friend will enjoy life with you and will be a good companion.
